Text message terms

The program

If you check the box on your account, we send texts about your Ledger & Grid account and tax return only. Examples: a sign-in code, a request for a document, or that your return is ready to sign. We do not send marketing, coupons or unrelated news.

Consent to texts is not a condition of creating an account or of the tax service. You can use email and the portal instead.

• Message frequency varies. You get a text when something on your return needs you, or when you ask for a sign-in code.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We do not share your mobile number with anyone for their marketing.

How to opt in and out

You opt in by checking the text-message box when you create an account, or later in Settings. You opt out any time:

• Reply STOP to a text. After that we will send a confirmation and then stop.
• Turn texts off in your account settings.
• Email [email protected] or call +1 (209) 200-2098.

Reply START or turn the setting back on if you want texts again. Reply HELP for a short help message.
